Academic obligations
In order to successfully complete the program and earn 3 ECTS credits, the student is required to fulfill the following academic requirements:
- Regular attendance
- Active participation in workshops and discussions
- Completion of assigned tasks during the program
- Preparation and presentation of a project or essay, in accordance with the requirements of the specific course

- Participation in all lectures, workshops and other teaching activities provided by the Summer School of Forensic Psychology program
- Teaching and working materials for following the program

Program description:
The aim of the Summer School of Forensic Psychology is to provide participants with contemporary theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of psychological analysis of criminal behavior, forensic psychological assessment, and evaluation of testimony credibility, through an interdisciplinary approach that connects psychology, criminology, law, and penology.
The program is focused on understanding the psychological factors of criminality, the application of scientific methods in personality and violent behavior assessment, as well as the development of competencies necessary for professional work in judicial, security, and penitentiary systems.
Special emphasis is placed on the analysis of judicial practice, ethical standards in forensic work, and the application of modern research findings in risk assessment, diagnosis of personality disorders, and evaluation of testimony, especially in cases involving vulnerable groups such as children. Through case studies, simulations of court proceedings, and analysis of real criminal situations, participants develop critical thinking, professional judgment, and interdisciplinary cooperation skills in the field of forensic psychology.
Learning outcomes:
Upon completion of the Summer School of Forensic Psychology, participants will be able to:

Learn about factors that may affect the credibility of testimony, especially in cases involving children. - Learn basic procedures of forensic psychological assessment -
Understand the role of psychologists in court proceedings and the basic elements of expert reports and opinions. - Understand the judiciary’s perspective in using psychological findings -
Learn how judges and the legal system use psychological assessments in decision-making processes. - Gain insight into psychological processes in correctional institutions -
Understand the basic principles of psychologists’ work in the prison system and the role of psychological interventions in rehabilitation. - Develop interdisciplinary thinking skills -
Understand the importance of cooperation between psychology, law, criminology, and security studies. - Critically analyze real forensic cases -
