Students of academic studies in the course Fundamentals of Human Resource Management will have a unique opportunity to complement theoretical knowledge with direct experience from business practice through company visits and student internships in leading organizations across various industries.
This teaching model allows students to gain first-hand insight into how modern organizations manage human resources, develop employees, and build organizational culture, as well as how they respond to the increasingly complex challenges of the contemporary labor market. A particular value of this approach is that students, even in the early stages of their studies, establish contacts with industry professionals and begin to build their professional network.
As part of the company visits, students will have the opportunity to tour Zdravlje Leskovac, Connectis Tower, Carlsberg, CakeCom, and the National Employment Service. During these meetings, they will talk with human resources experts and become familiar with key processes such as recruitment and hiring, employee development and motivation, team management, and shaping organizational culture.
Additionally, some students will have the opportunity to actively participate in company work through student internships at TIM Centar, CakeCom, Connectis Tower, and Insightful. These experiences allow students to directly engage in business activities, experience team collaboration, and gain valuable insight into the daily operations of organizations.
Through this combination of theory and practice, students develop professional competencies, understanding of employer needs, and a realistic picture of the modern business environment, which represents an important step in planning and developing their future careers in human resource management.
Throughout this process, students will be guided and supported by Professors Ivana Jošanov-Vrgović and Tatjana Đukić, who will help them connect academic knowledge with practical experiences and encourage them to extract maximum value from each encounter with companies for their professional development.
